Pauline and Joseph

I am in NYC photographing a wedding and a few engagement sessions. Before I get too behind in my blog posts I wanted to post some images of this great couple. Pauline and Joseph just moved back to Rochester, and are getting married in June. They are so friendly and easy to work with.

Spring Engagement Session!

The weather has broke here folks! I got a chance to enjoy some sun with Kim and Todd.
We met at the studio then headed out to the Neighborhood of the Arts for some drinks and fun! Todd and Kim had no problem getting relaxed with me and the camera. They did have a problem staying in the phone booth. At one point they took a little spill onto the sidewalk! Thankfully no major injuries, just some laughs. They had so much love, and energy during the session. I am so happy to have met this wonderful couple!

Keepin' it real at Make Light Real

I just finished up a two day lighting workshop right here in good old Rochester. The workshop was Neil Cowley's Make Light Real, and was hosted buy the gracious Rachel Gracie. The photographers that attended the workshop were all super nice, and I have made new friends. Neil knows his stuff and is a huge influence in motivating me to bring my work to a new level. My good friend, and talented photographer Tomas Flint was in attendance. We got a chance to spend some quality work time together. Bottom line, informative and motivational workshop with amazing photographers equals good times!

Snow, April, Wedding...Oh My!

On Sunday, Patrizia and Aaron braved the snow and cold to start their life together as a married couple. The weather did not slow these two down at all. Their family and friends were super nice, and a pleasure to work with. Aaron and Patrizia have a huge amount of support and love. I cannot wait to see them grow together!

Billy Joel makes me feel young

On Tuesday Mandy and I went to Buffalo to see the legendary Billy Joel in concert. We really enjoyed the quality time together. One of the best things about going to a Billy Joel concert was that it made us feel young again. I know we are only thirty, but when we go to other concerts like Dave Matthews Band, we usually are the oldest people there. Well... at the Billy Joel concert we were some of the youngest people. I think we were the loudest too!! We were loving it! Good times! Also, I do not think life is complete until you have seen 'Piano Man' live. Billy rocked it!
