Rochester Wedding!!!

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of working with wedding photography sensation Frank DiMeo! Frank invited me to document Heidi and Scott's fabulous wedding here in Rochester. This beautiful, young couple amazed me with their traditional love and maturity. I commend Scott's service to our fine country, and Heidi's dedication to Scott's calling. Heidi, Scott, and their families continued to impress and inspire me throughout the night. Frank and I enjoyed the wedding to the fullest!!! Cannot wait to work with Frank again...we had a blast, and worked great together! As Frank would say...Niiiice!!!!!!!!

What I'm Thankful For!!!

Mandy and I are thankful for all the people in our lives, though our world revolves around Charlie. He lights up a room with his energy, to say the least. Charlie has literally been jumping with excitement over the past three days with family and friends. Here is just a glimpse of his joy!!

Fall Colors...I love my city!!

Yesterday, I took some time to photograph the vivid colors outside of my studio. It was way too beautiful of a day, to sit in front of my computer!! Had to escape the workload and make some new art. Rochester has so many great things going for it...and some big city problems, but man is it gorgeous!!! I love this place!!! I Wouldn't want to be anywhere else...until it snows and is -10 degrees! So.. until those long, cold winter days are upon us, I will enjoy the colors in my city!

Kid and a (stuffed)Tiger!!!

As most of you know, when it comes to kids I really only photograph my own son and niece. I leave the kid portraits to the real professional children photographers, like my good friend Amanda Padgham. Not to say that I don't love taking kid portraits, but there is only so much time in a day and in a year. I focus my energy on weddings and nature. Though, when clients and their families are looking for portraits of their children, I am happy to help out. My previous clients and their families already have a quality, trusting relationship with me. This is the foundation of great photos! So, when the sister of my good friend, and previous wedding client, contacted me for photos of little 'K' ( I keep all children anonymous) I was more than happy to photograph this beautiful little girl! Let me just say, after two hours of photographing the adorable 'K' ...I was ready for a nap! Along with the cuteness comes a freakish speed that only a man half my age could keep up with! I have to say it was well worth the effort!!!

Revolution NYC...day two!!!

After a good nights sleep at my brother Ryan's condo, I was ready for day two! We headed out to China Town and with the group well rested, we made magic out of the morning light!

Then on to DUMBO for lunch, good conversations with super photographers, and more photos!!

We bumped into the super talented Becker on the Brooklyn Bridge! Then off we went back to Jason's studio for dinner and to get ready for the rooftop night photo session!

I cannot remember having more fun with so many talented individuals! This workshop provided a chance to take some risks with my photos, and try out some new techniques. Great friends were made and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us ALL!
